Foreign Rights Gateway

🌍 Take Your Story Global

Does your book have what it takes to reach readers worldwide? Foreign Rights Gateway opens the door for your story to travel beyond borders through two powerful platforms: The London Book Fair and DropCap Marketplace.

Foreign Rights Gateway combines the global influence of one of the publishing industry’s largest trade events with year-round exposure through DropCap Marketplace—a digital platform that connects authors to international book rights buyers. It gives self-published authors the unique opportunity to showcase their titles to a worldwide network of rights buyers and continue attracting interest long after the fair has ended.

The London Book Fair is one of the largest and most prestigious book trade shows in the world, where publishers, agents, authors, and industry professionals meet to discover fresh titles, negotiate rights and sell content across print and other media. The 2026 event will take place from March 10–12 at Olympia London, gathering the global publishing community under one roof.

DropCap Marketplace is an online global rights platform that connects authors and publishers to international buyers of book rights. It simplifies the process of licensing books, helping rights holders expand their readership worldwide. The platform also matches books with relevant publishers and agents, creating opportunities for genuine, lasting publishing partnerships.

Here's what your Foreign Rights Gateway service includes:

  • Placement in the Author Solutions Gallery at the London Book Fair 2026. A softcover copy of your book will be displayed in Author Solutions Gallery throughout the event from March 10-12, 2026.
  • 12-month listing on DropCap Marketplace. The listing features complete book details for rights buyers and a link to your book pitch video*.
  • Inclusion in the Author Solutions Event Catalog. Your book cover and description will be in our book catalog, which comes in both print and digital format. The print catalog will be given away at the event and attendees can scan a QR code which links directly to your DropCap listing.
  • 50 business cards to be given away at the event, featuring your book cover and DropCap listing QR code.

Why Foreign Rights Matter for Self-Published Authors

Having foreign rights available means their book can be licensed and published in other languages and countries—expanding their readership, potentially earning additional revenue, and building their author brand on a global scale.

*Author can choose to record their 45-60 second book pitch video themselves or have Partridge Singapore do it for them.

Disclaimer: This service does not guarantee feedback from publishers, agents or rights buyers. If a buyer expresses interest in a book, DropCap has experienced agents who can negotiate and finalize the best deal for authors on a commission basis.
