Twenty one year old Jai Grover has it all: good looks, an engineering degree from IIT-Delhi, rich and loving parents, and an easy life in a sprawling parental home in New Delhi.
After acquiring a degree in engineering, Jai’s parents recommend him to choose from two options to decide his future. But he is planning his own future. He strikes a deal with his parents to take a year off to create a dance group and set up an events management company in Mumbai, which changes his life forever.
After moving to Mumbai, Jai meets one Oksana Bzovsky, a strong, intelligent, beautiful and skilled dancer from Ukraine. Oksana tells him that she had been living in Mumbai for the past two years, working as a lead dancer for a Mumbai based company. Oksana reveals that she is at odds with her manager. As a result, she is certain to lose her job as well as her company provided apartment.
Jai is looking for a dancer and a choreographer for his future dance group. He senses a good opportunity in Oksana as she could prove to be a useful asset. With his powerful arguments, Jai convinces Oksana to move into his apartment and take up the role of Dancer-cum-choreographer.
Jai manages to pull together a dance group with the help of five rich teenagers and Oksana. However, Jai faces a number of challenges to win a business for his nascent group.
Despite sharing an apartment, the relationship between Jai and Oksana remains purely professional for some time. This all changes on an eventful Friday night, giving a hope to Jai that their relationship is taking a certain shape. However, next morning Oksana is a changed person. Thereafter, she starts to drift away from Jai. On the other hand, Jai draws closer to her.
Oksana continues to live with and work for Jai. Oksana, with the help of beautiful, intelligent and talkative Dolce Desai, successfully manages to win the first cheque and a dance competition for Jai.
After tasting a couple of minor successes, Jai encounters another problem. A greedy, cunning and influential businessman Naresh Gahlot makes an unsolicited offer which Jai refuses.
Jai is dealing with his emerging feelings for Oksana. He finds himself puzzled with her frequent mood swings and her enigmatic and reticent nature. He also is dealing with the traditional Indian values and the challenges emerging India faces.
Jai continues to struggle to win business for his dance group. Despite his frustrations, he is happy in Mumbai because he finds himself in the company of five trusted friends and Oksana. He also realises that he is learning new things in life every day through failures, upsets, minor successes and meeting good and evil people.
A number of bad experiences leave Jai convinced that he should change the course of his business. He decides to hold a Bollywood Night event on Christmas Eve. His preparations are in full swing, but two days before the event, something unexpected takes place leaving his future uncertain. He is left with four options to secure his fate and future with Oksana. He chooses one carefully based on rewards versus risks.
