About the Author

I am a retiree in my 78 years old. Nowhere to keep my mind active but to pen the thoughts into writing a book. Doing so will help to keep the mind active and never feel dull to pass the days in old age. Since primary school days I love to write. Writing is my favourite subject. When writing compositions my mind never failed to cease thinking what words to use to express my thoughts. It just keep flowing out of the mind. Now that I am in retirement, it is more beneficial to spend time writing My younger years were spent working in office. I was a "Rolling Stone" from job to job because I love venture- never believe staying in a job for years The more I rolled, the more experience gained. Growing orchid is also my passion Seeing orchid plants blooming your heart is enlightened. Flowers bring you great joy and peace of mind. Our Singapore city state honour visiting dignitaries to our country with orchids named after them These are VIPs - King, Queen, President of States and Prime Minister. Singapore is a small nation but in good relationship with all countries. Our orchids symbolise harmony and peace.
