The illustrations are based on photos taken during the author's volunteer experience in Chiangmai. The book is a light-hearted read that emphasizes the need to protect our natural environment, but it also encourages readers to love and understand the environment. The book features a walk through the jungle with a herd of rescued elephants, aiming to ignite a love for the natural environment and encourage more people to protect forests.
