About the Book

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED Tyler, a mere boy who miraculously beat the two undefeatable beasts that destroyed the lands in the Kingdon of Draycon countless times before, has continued his journey. Though this will be harder than he imagined… Two new evil beasts, one dwelling in the deep lush forests of Draycon, the other ruling the high, unscalable mountains have risen. Both are cunningly clever and have the strength of an army setting up many unexpected attacks and traps. How could Tyler, and his pet Drumstick, two makeshift heroes defeat such foes? But there is a new hope. Deep within the ancient kingdom, lay the mythical good beasts that stood up to these enemies a long time ago. The earth and wind warrior hold a key to resurrecting the fallen allies. Will Tyler and Drumstick be able to defeat these evil beasts? Or will they fail the quest… This is an interactive book. Can YOU help Tyler and Drumstick find the power crystals and the Plaque of Righteousness? LET YOUR QUEST BEGIN...

About the Author

Jay Den Leong is an 11-year old child author who is an avid reader. His first book Quest of Draycon – The Ancient Phoenix was published 1 year ago and was very well received. This current book Quest of Draycon – The Crystal Owl is a continuation of Tyler’s journey in fulfilling his quests and destiny. This possibly could be Jay Den’s last book (for now) as he gets busier in senior school. These books were inspired by a combination of ideas from Minecraft, Avengers and all the fantasy books Jay Den has been reading. Jay Den wanted to continue to tell and show others that with perseverance, goodness will prevail! Quest of Draycon series became an inspiration-filled family bonding activity. Jay Den’s elder 14-year old sister, Jo Lynn Leong, is very creative and artistic. She also studies in Dulwich College (Singapore) and is currently in year 9. Together with mummy, Chooi Poon Loo, they have created and designed the illustrations that describe the story and characters.
