About the Author

Dr Rehana Kassim is the founder of Rehanstat, a market research and data analytics company. She is a statistician by profession and the senior data scientist in the company. She graduated with a degree in mathematics majoring in applied statistics and subsequently did a postgraduate doctorate in knowledge management. She has extensive experience in market research and data management in various industries as well as the public sector. The introduction of big data analytics involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics has made the use of business intelligence more pronounced. It is with this wide spectrum of involvement with data that she was inspired to come up with this book.
