About the Author

Arthur R. Ouellette developed and managed hospitals across the world for over four decades including Hospital Corporation of America’s International Division in the Middle East and Africa and its subsidiary in Britain. He was the first CEO of Singapore General Hospital after its Restructuring in 1989. Steven J. Sobak has more than forty years of health-care administrative experience in the public, quasi-private, and private sectors. He has held senior management roles at hospitals in the United States, Middle East, Singapore, and Malaysia, and was part of the HCA International team that helped restructure Singapore General Hospital in 1989.
