Author:

Zhou Ying: a preeminent scholar of Mount Tai culture, serving as Chief Expert and Professor at the Mount Tai Research Institute of Taishan University. He has been honored with the State Council Special Allowance for his exceptional contributions.

For four decades, Professor Zhou has dedicated his career to the study of Mount Tai. He is the author of more than twenty scholarly books, including the seminal Annals of Mount Tai: A Comprehensive History. His research is distinguished by its rigorous textual analysis and a broad, interdisciplinary perspective, spanning the history of Mount Tai, the imperial feng and shan sacrifices, and its rich folk beliefs.

Deeply committed to public outreach,,Professor Zhou has dedicated himself to bring his research to a wide audience. This English version of this book serves as a bridge, allowing readers worldwide to discover and appreciate Mount Tai and its culture.

Translator:

Li Yuee: an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in the College of Foreign Languages at Shandong Agricultural University. Her research focuses on translation studies and practice. Recently, she was dedicated to the translation of Mount Tai culture, with multiple related publications that underscore her expertise for this project.

Li Ling: an Associate Professor at Shandong Agricultural University, holding a Master of Arts degree and a PhD in Management. Her research focuses on the translation of traditional Chinese culture and the integration of ideological education in university curricula.
